Not unlike many other professional musicians playing the circuit, Denis has always ensured that his creativity would be given an outlet by writing and recording his own music. In 1998 with his musical skills honed to a keen edge, a well equipped professional studio and a Rolodex filled with some of Toronto's best musicians, Denis began the process of creating 'Safe as milk', a collection of songs that walk that very fine line where accessibility and catchy-ness cohabit easily with quirky atmospheres and relevant lyrical content.

'You don't know me' was written while vacationing in St.-John's, Newfoundland where Denis spent countless mornings nursing hangovers and jammed with some of the most talented, friendliest and fun-loving people this country has to offer. Enjoy...
