Biographies
Born and raised in Québec City, Denis Martel crashed the Toronto music
scene in 1988 where he and his newly found friends
formed the enduring musical entity known as 'The High Rollers', a powerful pop trio with a most
refreshing sound and a most peculiar brand of humour.
In addition to Denis (pronounce 'the knee' with a french accent!) on
guitar and vocals, the band features Joe Power or
Jason Farrar on bass, Sheldon Thomas, Sascha Takatsch or
Ian Copeland on the drums and, whenever a female vocal presence is needed, the beautifully talented Leeanne
Reed.
All seven members are accomplished and versatile musicians with over 903 years of experience
between them! Their live show is highly energetic and their repertoire includes an extensive
selection of hits from the '50s to the '10s, ranging anywhere from Johnny Cash to The Killers...and
served with a twist!
